Downing Street Performance, Rising Strong Video, New Album Update
Downing Street – International Parental Alienation Awareness Day
Last week I was honoured to perform a short set to support International Parental Alienation Awareness Day on Downing Street in London here in the UK.
As a fervent campaigner of Parental Alienation Awareness I was thrilled to perform. I met so many mothers, fathers, grand parents, and siblings affected by Parental Alienation. New friendships were made and support shared during the peaceful march from The Royal Courts of Justice to Downing Street in London. Speeches were moving, passionate and heartfelt.
I have been deeply moved by the feedback relating, in particular, to ‘Slave to Fortune’. This is such a personal song and I was delighted and humbled that it resonated with so many. The new version performed is included on the new album “My Truths”. It was also a pleasure to dedicate ‘Oh Sonni’ to Stephen Best from Child Absent who support and advise so many affected by PA.
Thank you to Clair Matchel for organising the day and inviting me to perform. Incredible work!!
It’s wonderful BBC picked up on the event and provided positive TV and radio coverage following the event.

Rising Strong – New Version
We released a video of our new version of ‘Rising Strong’ which you can view on our YouTube page.. Here’s the link
The song was inspired by Brene Brown’s book “Rising Strong”, which helped me acknowledge, understand, accept and evolve from a deeply personal crisis.
This is a more intimate version than the version on “The Rumble” EP brought to life with some beautiful violin playing by Heulwen Thomas.
I’m so grateful to Al Steele for his mentorship, guidance and damn fine musicianship on this record.
New Album Update
Al and I have been tweaking the new album “My Truths” over the last few weeks and I delighted that we have, finally mastered it. We’re now working on the artwork and hope to have a definitive release date for the digital and physical copies very soon.
